Top 5 Air Travel Apps on Android in Costa Rica: Q1 2025

The first quarter of 2025 saw varied performance trends among the top air travel apps on the Android platform in Costa Rica. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps experienced different patterns in downloads, active users, and revenue.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker showed a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $395 in early March. Downloads fluctuated, with a high of 984 in the first week of January, while active users saw a decline from 6.5K to 3.6K by the end of March.

Volaris maintained steady download numbers, starting at 687 and decreasing to 228 by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar trend, beginning at 1.6K and ending at 1.1K.

avianca experienced a decrease in both downloads and active users. Downloads began at 741 and dropped to 425, while active users decreased from 2K to 1.7K over the quarter.

Copa Airlines saw a consistent pattern in active users, hovering around 1.5K throughout the quarter. Downloads were highest at 608 in early January, before stabilizing around 439 by the end of March.

The new Volaris 2.0 app, released in March, showed a rapid increase in downloads, reaching 2.8K by late March. Active users also surged, climbing to over 3K by the end of the quarter.
